Multi-platinum recording artist Usher officially announces his OMG Tour. The highly anticipated 25-date trek across North America, presented by AEG Live, will kick off November 10 in Seattle at KeyArena.

On the heels of his recent release Versus, an extension of his platinum album Raymond V. Raymond, Usher is preparing to bring all of his hits to the stage including his current pop chart smash “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love”.

“Songs like ’OMG’, ’DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love’, ’There Goes My Baby’, ’Papers’, ’Daddy’s Home’, ’Lil Freak with Nicki Minaj’ and ’Hot Tottie with Jay Z’ have dominated the airwaves since last February”, says Randy Phillips, President & CEO of AEG Live. “Now is the time for one of our greatest entertainers to go live and we are thrilled to be part of the ultimate Usher experience. Usher is bringing his fans an evening they will not soon forget. This will be the ‘Must See’ concert tour of 2010!”

Usher’s sixth studio album Raymond V. Raymond debuted at No.1 on Pop and R&B albums charts and spawned five hit singles including “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home),” “Lil Freak” featuring Nicki Minaj, “There Goes My Baby” and “OMG” featuring will.i.am. He was recently confirmed to perform at the upcoming MTV 2010 Video Music Awards on September 12th.

THE FAIRHAVEN, formerly Anna’s Kaddy Shack, opened its doors in February 2002. The name was borrowed from the old Fairhaven Restaurant which called this building home 15 years earlier. It is also representative of The Fairhaven district of Bellingham were it is located. By April 2002 the building had been extensively remodeled with live music as a focal point. The stage was placed so that none of the 200 +seats were obstructed and with a capacity of close to 300 there is plenty of room to dance or play pool on one of our 3 pool tables.

The acoustics were also a focal point of the remodel. No expense was spared with the Sound and Lighting. The Sound in the building is very rich and can be clearly heard from anywhere in the building without it being too loud in any one place.

Another focal point of this unique venue is our Martinis. We serve all of your favorites like the classic Manhattan as well as many of our very own special Martinis. Check out the Menu page for a list of some of our more popular Martinis.

Serving Veterans for over 87 years

This branch of the American Legion was chartered in January 19, 1922. Since the founding in 1922, the post has progressed and now has over 350 active members. A large portion made up of Korean and Viet Nam vets.

Among the many Community projects entered into by the local post are the sponsorship of local students scholarship program, Boys State, Easter egg hunts, local baseball teams and other various school programs in Blaine and Custer school districts. There is a Christmas party held each year for the children of Blaine. This event has been going on since 1922, when it was held at the old local theater, at which time candy and presents are handed out. Many other projects are assigned to the post, some are for the seniors, and some for the families of veterans, and are undertaken with the same vigor and spirit of the men who fought for our country and had the foresight to establish this post and its community programs.

The establishment of another organization called The Woman’s Auxiliary in 1924 involved the mothers and daughters of veterans who served during the war. These women became a strong and supportive group in themselves. They began their own set of programs directed at youth and the sick. Some of these include, work at the senior center, the local food bank, several summer camps for local children, Girls State, Children’s Miracle Network, reading to children, and volunteer time at local and veterans hospitals. Other programs such as Easter, Christmas, and Halloween, are co-sponsored by the Legion Family. These along with National programs set by the Dept. of Washington keep the women very busy.

The Sons of the American Legion formed in 1933, with the sons and grandsons of Service Veterans, makes the Legion Family complete. The Sons of Post 86 were formed in 1992. The main objective of our squadron is to support programs in the community, state, and national level, including Child Welfare, food and gift baskets for needy families at Thanksgiving and Christmas. We attend a yearly SAL Convention for the family and also attend Mid-winter, spring and various other conferences and workshops.

These three organizations make up the Legion Family. It has been our privilege to serve the veterans and the community for the past 86 years and we are looking forward to serving the vets and community for many years to come.

Nashville, Tenn. (February 9, 2010) – Platinum recording artist Miranda Lambert brings her “Roadside Bars And Pink Guitars” Tour to her fans this Spring.  Gearing up on March 18th in Beckley, WV, the tour will make stops in at least 22 cities and more to be announced.  This is Lambert’s first official headlining tour.  She will be joined by special guests David Nail, James Otto, Randy Houser and Wade Bowen among others.

“In the last 5 years, I have learned so much from all the amazing artists I’ve toured with,” said Lambert.  “Now it’s my turn to venture out and do more shows of my own.  I’m happy that there are a lot of great new artists who are willing to come out and support my tour.”

Critics and fans agree Lambert is ready to take center stage.  Recent performances garnered such praise as “Lambert again proved she is one of modern country’s most formidable talents” from The Oklahoman and Dallas Morning News “She can command a stage as good as any of the genre big boys.” USA Today wrote “Her artistry and reputation as a fiery live performer will keep her in the forefront.”

Lambert recently taped an episode of ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition, which airs this spring, and she tapes two upcoming shows for the Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson.  The first airs ____where Miranda will perform her recent #1 hit “White Liar.”  The second will air later this spring (Date TBA) with a performance of Lambert’s upcoming single – both are from her critically-acclaimed REVOLUTION album.

The three-time GRAMMY nominee received rare perfect reviews for REVOLUTION from countless publications including 4 stars from Rolling Stone and USA Today, an A from Entertainment Weekly and exuberant praise from SPIN, NY Times, Washington Post and more.  Many claimed REVOLUTION the “Best Album of 2009” in any genre including NPR’s All Things Considered.  Amongst the many accolades, the Nashville Scene Critics Poll voted Miranda Lambert’s REVOLUTION as the year’s best album and her “White Liar” as the year’s best single; they also named her Female Vocalist of the Year and runner-up Artist of the Year.
